That looks like pretty good stuff mate.. Its honestly not that bad- but id recommend storing it nicely, and as in the pics, the screwdriver that was suspended over the bucket has corroded like hell,..

Todays update...
Whilst im waiting for the new cam belt, i decided to do a bit of work on the last bracket.
Since the ALS means there is no vacuum at idle, ive got rid of the servo connection to the inlet manifold. So ive bought the electro vacuum pump from an Audi A4, today i made the bracket for it, since its cramped up there ive also added the clutch reservoir to it also..

Also found a little time to add the new exhaust gasket, clean up the turbo, zinc plate the T4 to T3 adapter, make an oil return line and take a photo lol

Okie dokie, todays update..
As the turbo is water cooled, and im planning on feeding it into the heater system (in order to generate a bit of cabin heat asap), im running 1/2" ali lines and there is the oil feed line.
Im a big fan of keeping complicated stuff, neat. I have made a frame, which bolts to the rocker cover.
This frame will fully support the water lines and oil feed line. The rear portion holds the two coil packs.. It looks a little intrusive at the moment but when ive positioned the P-clips, ill be adding holes (to reduce the weight) and powdercoating it..

Hopefully people like the aesthetics of this.. i know i do..

Little bit of progress today, some 16mm ali tube arrived.
I used a mates pipe bender to mould it around the frame i made at the weekend. Unfortunately i was off with my guess for length, so i was only able to do the return line. The pictures only show it tywraped on but it gives an idea..

If it doesnt, i can just cut a bit of ribbing from the carbon bonnet
Cool. I've never actually checked, but it always looked like the valve cover sits pretty damn close. Never would have guessed that there was as much as 40mm though!
There are also some hood options out the that are frameless. I've still got an old Fiber Images one on my coupe, not sure if they are still around or not though.

Im using a seibon bonnet, but its shimmed at the rear to allow hot air out over the windscreen.. This most likely contributes to the additional space...
Even if it was close, im not above removing the ribbing...

Pretty much finished the water supply and return pipes for the turbo..
There will be more rubber hose, but im not buying that yet..
Now i just need to make up the oil supply pipe, and notch the bracket to let it pass through neatly

Last nights work..
Did one of the water lines, and decided to run a hard fuel line to the easy access side of the engine..

Todays little job.. Made the plates to run the IACV and FITV externally to the inlet manifold.. Wont be doing any more until i make the bracket for the engine bay..

Finished assembling the engine today!
Although ill need to exchange the dry sump drive pulley for a gilmer one, its is as good as done.
The turbo and oil plumbing will be done when i order all my earls bits- no point in paying for it now... Ill have the engine parts powdercoated possibly before the suspension stuff..
Hope everyone likes it..

The moroso alternator pulley doesnt have the timing marks so i transferred them across and used my saw to produce the same grooves

And this shot is to prove that the oil pump isnt too low, you can clearly see that the centre part of the sump is over 2" lower than the pump

A mate came over, was showing him the engine when i noticed there was a bit of play in the oil pump brackdet when i applied alot of force to the belt...
I decided to add some more structure to minimise the bending.. Thankfully a great success!!!

They are indeed the same front axles mate, im running B series DSS axles. The rears are custom though- not made mine yet..
As far as the gear set is concerned i dont know. The CRV has two ring gears on the diff, one driven by the gearbox, one to drive the prop directly. Im not sure if the GSR stuff is compatible- but i would be interested to know if it was...

Thanks mate
Sorry i dont have any other pics, the arms are on the car packed away at the moment so it would be too difficult to try and get some..
Its really quite a simple mod, you slice a section out, weld it back together and add a reinforcement plate at the back to strengthen it.. I had to modify the 4wd civic arms to receive the CRV (larger) style wheel bearing, which also means i can use civic outer CV joints..
The pain is drilling the spot welds and moving the subframe rearwards.. horrible job..

**ULTIMATELY BEST OF ALL OF THE BUILD IN THIS THREAD IS THE FACT ITS DONE TO A COUPE!!

And of this caliber...

Coz see too many AWD or swapped up Del Sols, CRXs and Hatches are always. Hardly the sedans and pretty Damn RARE for coupes Dayumn GREATEST BESTEST MOST DETAILED Build thread ever!!! So thorough, very enthusiastic informative, interesting, with photos. NOT only that but the comments and others are great too as they also are sharing useful knowledge with questions actually answered fully or satisfactory enough to thought. I LOVE IT!! VERY INTERESTED and IN fact HUNGRY or FEENIN for more.
If I was Your neighbor... Definitely be by your side wrenching with ya if you'd allow, I love wrenching and Modifying/Builds/Tuning. Cuz atleast thats how it used to be in my home neighborhood with my neighbor who build old school HOT RODS, Buggys, and all sorts of neat stuff anything and everything as he was running his auto body & paint prep from his home garage everyday/night was some thing to do - I learned lots, earned lots... Can even say I was that LiL kid that always stayed over and even was wrenching with them under the 56' Chevy on stands fitting new front suspension kit and adapting 4spd tranny. Man oh man how I miss that neighborhood and that family... We lost touch, Families had families, etc.

Honestly mate i dont know. Using the crv clutch pack i have no control over it so im expecting it to die pretty quickly.. If i convert it to haldex, i can limit the power it will bias to the rear based on injector duty cycle and an equation i wrote to work out the actual power output...
Ill just have to see at what point i damage it and work from there.. The transmission may go before the diff- i just dont know lol
krax78, wow thanks mate- im not sure what to say to that... I do love the coupe- and the 92-95 coupe is by far the best shape (in my opinion)

i disassembled very carefully the original part from the chassy and after mesuring for manny thimes i found that i can fit the shuttle subframe without changing the shape of the structure.i drilled holes and use strong tubes thru for straighting.i will chek and if needet i can do more.by the way you can look for shuttle subframes even to tha fwd modell and just do a easy job by making the rear diff mount plates on it.
