Hey chaps... A little update for tonight..
Managed to spend some time on the new motor controllers, after the last ones broke..
This one is a bit more bulky, and good news, it works perfectly!

Your work is by far the best that i have seen while being a member here on HT for the last few years. Keep it up mate. You got me interested in that S2K cluster. Ill look into it. I have a dc2.

a little update for tonight..
Been a bit busy doing some projects for other people here in the UK. I have managed to spend some time on my own again. Decided to do away with my wasted spark system in favour of a coil on plug system...
Ive designed an interface for and Honda ECU (even OEM) which will determine which cylinder is firing and direct the signal to it.. Ive designed mine to run on Audi 1.8T (115-R) coils with integrated ignitors...

The coils are a perfect fit on the engine, the controller board im testing on somebodies car this weekend as mine doesnt run at the moment. But as it stands its all done and dusted.. It can also allow much more retard than standard as well as taking advantage of Hondata S300s latest update which allows adjustable dwell angle (time) to suit the coils, these are 3ms..

A little update for tonight. Not much been done as ive been a bit busy with some other stuff..
The Audi throttle pedal arrived. Im using this for my drive by wire system.. Long story short, there are 2 pots built into the pedal. At the moment im only using 1, but soon both will be used with error checking between them.
I didnt have the audi connector so i cut back the plastic and soldered my own on. As theyre not covered now, ive just put heat shrink on the spare pins..

The front drive shafts are B series DSS 5.2's. As the CRV is a B series layout..
The rear drive shafts are custom made (not yet finished) but they will be made my a company here in the UK with CRV inner stubs and Civic outer stubs....
The prop shaft is a CRV one, it needs to be shortened, so when it all goes back together ill know how much to cut it down by and send it to a driveshaft place locally to cut and balance it..

crikey.. Carbon fibre.. Probably a bit out of my price range!
Hopefully the driveshafts should be okay because the load is distributed between all 4...
