Default zc vtec

Hey guys i just got a new car a 90 si hatch with a zc block in it for 100$, so i have a z6 sohc vtec head im going to put on , does anyone else have a zc vtec motor? Both block and head are sohc. Thanks

DOHC ZC is non VTEC, SOHC is VTEC.

not true, i have a sohc zc, non-vtec (well as of right now) its is similar to the d16a1, **** or is it a6... one of em

personally ive never heard of a zc sohc vtec, mine is a sohc nonvtec zc with a z6 head. Suppose to be pretty quick. And yes its a 1.6 litre and equivelant to a d16a6 crx si motor.

there are quite a few zc engine first there was dohc non vtec zc 1.6, and they have sohc zc non vtec and then they have a sohc zc vtec is 138hp somesay 140, its like a z6 engine but with zc pistons in it thats all, there is also a jdm d15b sohc vtec is 130hp, is there any people on this forum that specialise in sohc engines?
