Default wiring knowledge needed??

(OBD-II) 99 itr swap from HMO. P30-jdm ecu (OBD-I) . 95 del sol b-series DOHC vtech engine wire harness? Every is plug and play. At least most of the things except the injector, distributor, and alternator?? I'm putting it into 95 ex. What to do about injectors, dizzy, and alternator. Do I reuse the clips that come with the motor and rewire by color matching the wires. All approaches are need?

Just plug in the ITR harness, it's plug and play with your chassis... ECU will work awesome but I recommend a SK2 prog for it... You are right about the connectors though if you did use the Del Sol harness which I don't know why you would do... You could either use OBD1 injectors which I wouldn't do cuz i love the look and how clean the OBD2 injectors/connectors are... It's wiring would be really simple because all the colors just match up... (#1 brown-yellow/black, #2 red-yellow/black, #3 blue-yellow/black, #4 yellow-yellow/black) As for the distributor and alternator I'm pretty sure that the colors won't be the same, but I haven't had to do this a lot... Honda got better over time with the look of the connectors and I have to have my wiring PERFECT so i try to do what is cleanest... There are a few ways to do the connectors if for some reason you did use the other harness I would probably just trace the wires (knowing their origin at the ECU via continuity testing) instead of just looking at a diagram... I just like to make all my diagrams myself, but I'm WEIRD... For the distributor I would cut the end off the Del Sol harness and use the female connector from the ITR harness because all the OBD2 connectors use the single connector which I think looks cleaner (this way is more work tho since I don't know if the colors will match up) AGAIN if your ITR harness is fine just use it, I'm just telling you what you could do if the harness was damaged for some reason Good Luck and let me know if you need anything else... Peace

the motor is a jdm so the itr harness is a RHD. I dont have it yet but I was told by HMO that I could only use the plugs. What if I used the 96+ gsr OBD-II harness would that work??
