we turbo my friends 89 ls hatchback and it is throwing map sensor code check engine lite comes on car will start jerking we put check valves in it but the car want even run if u do that can anyone tell us whats going on with this thing.

 

I'm sorry, but could you be more vague? We need to know information about the setup, most notably what kind of engine management. You do know that the stock MAP sensors don't like boost don't you? Just adding check valves won't necessarily do anything for you.

 

it is a t3t4 setup tailwastegate front mount rfl bov boosting 5lbs stock injectors stock fuel pump aem fuel rail and press reg. and it is a stock map
