Default map sensor problem on 90 teg...

friend of mines car is giving him all **** at anything over 6 psi and he hits a check engine.

he already has 4 check valves tee'd in but it still is not enough.

what are you ls 1.8 turbo guys going for the funky map ****... he cannot get much to work and any suggestions will help.

smc here, works great, and cheaper than FMU/check valve setup. Well, its my bros car...

how much and were do you get them.

my buddy JL is wanting to up the boost but this is the only hold back... he has a built motor and poopy fuel management.

Why not bust out the credit card and buy some real fuel management and a 3 bar map??? If it is giving you problems now imagine what it will do with more boost. No sense loosing a built motor over something like this. The only real solution IMHO. Good luck
