Default turbo ls hatch prob???

we turbo my friends 89 ls hatchback and it is throwing map sensor code check engine lite comes on car will start jerking we put check valves in it but the car want even run if u do that can anyone tell us whats going on with this thing...
it is a t3t4 setup tailwastegate front mount rfl bov boosting 5lbs stock injectors stock fuel pump aem fuel rail and press reg. and it is a stock map

try reseting the ECU by taking off the batter cable . . . sounds like he went into limp mode.

Could we have more information on your setup, what are you running for fuel management? What are the settings?

If it's a map code it should be reset when you turn off the car.

Yeah we need more info on the set-up.
It sounds like you are putting the chack valves in wrong. Are then venting out into the atmosphere?
What else does he have for fuel management? I hope he has more then a fuel rail and fpr reg.

i had the same problem with my car. u may not have the check valve in right, and u may need to put 2 in between the map and tb. u need an fmu with stock fpr. u can run stock injectors with the fmu, but dont run more than 7psi. if u want to run more boost u need bigger injectors and an afc, or hondata. but the fmu with stock injectors and stock fpr will run well at 5-7psi. dont run the car the way it is now, it is running way too lean and ur gunna blow it up, thats what i did to my car.
