Default serious problem help me please

the other day i replaced my t3/t4 with a t3 just for kicks, when i put the t3 on it ran ok for a few minutes then i smelled oil, i pulled over to discover the turbo not spinning at idle and lots of oil and smoke on the exhaust side of the turbo. i figured the turbo was bad so i bought another t3( i got em both cheap)
well this turbo is doing the same thing, except i noticed coolant trickling down the block. i took the turbo off the manifold and ran the car for a sec to see if the oil was coming before the turbo, it looked like it was coming from the head, but im not sure, any ideas on what the hell is wrong, i hope its just a head gasket

man i think you need to use teflon tape on the oil/coolant fittings on the turbo. sounds like theyre leaking.
edit- how much can you get those t3s for?

i did use teflon tape, the point was i think there is oil and coolant leaking somewhere other than the turbo, but the turbo's compressor wheel is not spinning at idle???

youd be surprised, i can get good turbos for pretty cheap, hell my friend just bought a freshly rebuilt t72 for about $500 but thats not the point, the same thing has happened with two different turbo chargers, and the whole oil and coolant thing has thrown me off, i assume its a head gasket, i stupidly replaced the head gasket with composite one.

is you return line kinked or too long or to thin??? also you should have only a -3 to feed it and a -12 to drain!! just my opinion. also prime the turbo before you install it just add a little oil to the turbo feed or drain hole. as far as the coolant goes dont have clue sorry. i would have be standing in front of the car.

so your saying the return line being kinked would cause this problem? whats your input on the turbo spinning at idle?

Oh yeah if its trickling down the block id say its a headgasket. But id try putting the t3/t4 back on first.
