Oil cooled turbo leaking coolant?? WTF
today when i warmed up my car i see what seems to be coolant leaking out from the compressor side near the bolts. it was leaking a lot, like one drip every 2 seconds or something. i checked the 13mm on the compressor and it was tite. the turbo is a oil cooled turbonetics t3/t4 .57 trim ar63. it wasn't leaking from the radiator. i checked it later on after i drove a little and it wasn't leaking. then when i got home tonight i checked it again and i see a trail of what looks to be coolant. i know its not oil for sure cuz it wasnt dark and it wasn't as thick as oil. did this happen to anyone before or do you guys know what could be the problem? the turbo is fairly new, about 3,000 miles and i am the 1st owner.

I have the same thing happen. I somehow get something other than oil that sprays out from a very tiny hole in my downpipe and runs down. It dries black so I believe its moisture with carbon in it but I dont see how it could make it through the very hot combustion, exhaust manifold, and turbo ?
