Default Quick oil pan question

Honda oil pans are made out of steel, not aluminum correct? I'm just double checking before I order a weld on bung and I have my choice of aluminum or steel.

depends what car you have. All the older honda's are steel, but some of the newer ones are aluminum. Like 98-up preludes are aluminum. 99- up civic aluminum. Mostl likely pre-98 will be steel

In particular a 95 b18b. I'm welding a -10an bung on the pan in place of the JB welded bulkhead fitting. It's just a matter of ordering either the steel or aluminum one.

My '94 del Sol (D16Z6) definitely has a steel pan. A magnet will give you your answer pretty easily.
