ok quick question...

Default ok quick question...

Getting a fitting to get welded to my oil pan tomorrow,I would assume my oil pan is steel,which would me I need a steel fitting to buy to weld. Basically I just want to make sure my pan is not aluminum which I doubt but I'm being really cautious..
It may be a dumb question but I need the help
motor b16..if it makes a difference

I was under the impression brass could not be welded to the oil pan? But would that work with the Jb weld...need help bad...
