no, still running the Moroso oil pan. I'm going to start looking for a stock one.

lookin at the 92-96 service manual it says not to install the oil control orifice on the block, goes on the #3 cam holder with 1 o-ring like the pictures you posted.
Have you tried putting an oil pressure gauge in the front of your head to see if you are getting enough oil pressure to activate vtec?

cant really tell with the pictures but do u have both rocker shaft orifices in the right spot

still what is your oil pressure at the head at whatever rpms vtec goes out? could be a weak oil pump.

also where the hell is the orfice on the block as shown in the above picture? im pretty certain that has to be there. where is the oil leak coming from when you start the car? are you positive it is the headgasket leaking and not something above it?

There is no leak visable wile the car is running. Just when its shut off, that little area circled in red fills up. Thats where the leak ins comming from.

I'm going to auto zone on my lunch,and will pick up a oils press guage.

I did a search on the oil control unit on the block. I looked at 5 diffrent sites. Non of them show that part on the block, all of the show it on the head.

well replaced the oil pan with a brand new stock oil pand/pick up.
Still no VTEC.

Havn't had a chance to see what oil pressure is yet.

could the fact that the dowlpins are placed on the rear (near the area of the leak) be causing this problem.

shouldn't the be toward the front of the block?
