Im looking to have my block bored i was wondering what the average price is. just 50 over with a deckplate used. also looking for a reliable shop around long island. any help appreciated thanks

nebody? i was quoted as much as nearly 600 from one place but they gave me all sorts of bs, tht it costs extra because im goin to use headstuds.

yea, i figured that. i got something around 250 last night and i know some people that deal with him so i will probably go with that.

i paid 1200$ for my whole bottem end, crank balence, hot tank, bore/hone, bore connecting rods, grind a bit off the top of the connecting rods, matched my rings so there exact with the size of the cylinder, all new bottem end bearings and ARP bolts, and ive been bring all sorts of random stuff to be hot tanked there for free for the past month or so

$250 retail is around right for bore deck hone from a good shop.
