How do you I pull check engine codes for a 98 civic?

two pin connector in a green rubber dummy plug under right dash,jump the two wires,turn the key on and count the flashes

on the right side kick panel there are 2 plugs one with 2 wires and other with 3 jump the one with two wires and turn your ignition to on position not start and count how many blinks your check engine light goes. one long blink is 10 and short blinks is one. and long pause in between for another code

95 should be the same method and have that same 2 pin connector.. like they used to say "Were way Ahead of Our Time"... Many 1995 OBDI cars share the same troubleshooting procedures as their 1996 counterparts...
