Default Code 22

I hooked up my LED to my VTEC enguagement wire coming out of the VTEC selenoid last night. It lights up now when VTEC kicks in....woohoo.. Only downfall...I am now getting Code 22 from my ECU. I know this is the VTEC Pressure switch code, but is it hurting anything? The wire tapped (gator clipped) to the green/white wire coming from the selenoid is causing the problem. If I take it off, will it go away, or once the wire is violated....it has to be replaced? If I leave the wire on and reset the ECU, will it have any bad affects?
