Advance Timming with boost and still pre-ignite?
Setup t3/t4 550s 91 octane SMC 12lbs of boost outside temp 75deg.
Ok I have a theoretical question. If I were to advance timming, would it lean out my A/F raito and pre ignite? Or would it just preignite and ping while keeping the same a/f ratio? If this doesnt make sense Ill try to explain better, Im just curious to know.... thanks

should keep same air\fuel rate all you are doing is changing the time the sparkplugs spark when advancing the timing. if you get detination thats bad which could be a few things overheating, timing, fuel octane, leaning out.
