Default internal wastegate possible to run open loop?

i just wanna know if it's possible to dump the 18g's internal wastegate's air into the atmosphere rather than back into the exhaust. if it is possible has anyone done it and how do u do it? i have heard that on the fmax kit this adds a bunch of hp.

um, ya it is very common on DSMs. Forced Performance sells flanges for this. You can make you own pretty easily too. It would give you some good exhaust flow at full boost

here is the flange off the FP.com site, since you didn't look it up.

basicly the DP is welded to the big hole and a dump tube is welded to the small WG hole. it's pretty simple.
I think there are some places that have O2 housings for either DSM or jdm t25/28s. basicly that flange with little flanged elbows welded to it. you could disable the internal gate and put an external on too if you wanted.
