Default GT35 and internal wastegate

i may be getting a gt35 with an internal wastegate from this guy. i dont know wether its precision or garret yet but, i use an external wastegate setup, is it hard to have the internal wastegate welded shut, like hard to get to, ive seen some with the 5bolt flange and the wastegate hole is not big at all.

you can actually jsut lock the actuator shut and run it that way or remove it and weld the flapper closed its easy to do dsm guys are notorious for doing that

how do you weld it shut if it has that little hole with the 5 bolt flange....take the housing off and do it from the inside?

it doesnt matter if the hole is there you have to actually weld the flapper shut so it doesnt move or release by keeping it shut there is no exahust gas coming out of it when it is released

so its something easy, and i can just pay some welder to do it, i dont have a welder or anything. and ive heard of people doing it, but there was never a hole on the ones ive seen....it was just one big open cavity you could see the turbine and the flapper right next to it...but i think this one has a hole instead of one large cavity. ill hve to take off the exhaust housing and weld the flapper from the inside of the housing.

that or lock the WG actuator shut you can clip it shut by using a peice of aluminum to lock the actuator

id rather do away with all of that crap so i can think of it as no internal wastegate was ever there. by the way, do these things have a 2.5" exhaust outlet like the sc61 does?, i cant fit a 3"downpipe with AC on there. i was gonna go 2.5" to 3" exhaust.
