GSR application: I've taken out the oil pressure sender (in the back of the block, couple of inches below the throttle body, i think its a 22mm) and replaced it with the autometer fitting (mechanical gauge). It worked great for me. You can also get a T fitting to have both the gauge and the sender connected. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

yea you take out the oil sending unit than use the t brass fitting to send oil through the gauge. the oil feending you need a 24mm socket i beleive. kinda hard to reach but you'll get it. wish i had a picture to show you. make sure you use a stainless braided sending unit thou. i have the hks one and its copper or something n ot sure..and braided which is good thing, duno how the autometer one is. btw this is for the d16y8

I have mine done this way, and it works great.

Just make sure to coat all the fitting's threads with a drop of Hondabond to prevent leaks.

And NO, you do not run the line directly to the guage. You have to T into the factory sender hole, and have both the Autometer and factory sending unit installed, or you will get a CEL for oil pressure and VTEC will not work.

I went the same route. It's easier to go with the Ele one.

Try ebay.com that's where I got mines from. But you can buy it from any auto store, being that your from PR, I would try to get a SuperStreet mag or any import mag and just order it from there.
