Default "T" on oil feed for mechanical oil pressure gauge.. accurate reading?

Quick question on how Im gonna run the oil feed for my mechanical oil pressure gauge. Ive already got the tuner toys fitting that tees off of the back of the block for the oil feed.

I wanna install a T that I made at work off of my oil feed line and runt hat to my oil gauge, will the reading still be accurate?

The reason I wanna do that is because my clearances are going to be tight and I feel Im gonna have some high oil pressure so with this T, the inlet is going to be as big as the one going to the oil pressure gauge, but the OUT side of the T that goes to the oil feed I put on a really thin diamter fitting that I reconnect the feed line to and it should cut down oil a good bid

Basically I just wanna cut my oil feed line, install a T for the oil pressure gauge and a small exit tube for the oil feed to cut down pressure, will it all work accurately

Thanks

I've always been running my oil pressure sensor "T"ed into my turbo feed lnei half way through. My oil pressures are pretty much the same as everybody else o n the board.

I didnt know if running a few T's would drop the PSI reading at the gauge

You should be fine. The only thing that actually "uses" the oil coming off the back of the block is the feed line. Once the line for the oil pressure gauge is filled with oil it won't do anything to pull oil from the feed line (starving the turbo). It'll only read the pressure changes. You should get a decent reading from your "T" idea unless you add something else in line with that feed line that would actually take oil away (an oil cooler comes to mind) from the oil feed line.

lol i dont know what I was thinking, of course it just fill sthe line once and tells you the pressure, what a donkey
