Default question about autometer oil pressure gauges

i have 2 autometer oil pressure gauges. one is a mechanical gaulge which requires a steel braided oil line to be run from a T fitting from the back of the block and i have a oil pressure gauge that is electrical. both read oil pressure in PSI but i want to use the electrical oil PSI gauge because i already have my turbo oil feed line using the t fitting. how would i use the electrical gauge? where does the signal wire for the gauge go on a honda motor?

that very same sensor that you T-eed your oil line for your turbo should have a oil pressure sensor, tap that line(wire) i beleive that is the sending unit.

i have a mechanical one, but i remeber the electrical having its own sending unit. i read it in an install in a magazine. am i wrong?
you can just replace your stock oil sending unit for the mechanical one and you do not need a steel braided line for it. you can buy a kit for 5 bucks at pepboys or autozone and it has all the fittings and oil line you will need. much easier and cleaner install.

ok so i had to give up the mechanical oil pressure gauge since it was my friends and he wanted it back so now im stuck with teh electrical oil pressure gauge. i know the guysaid above aobut a separate sending unit for electrical gauge so i went to teh parts store ancd couldnt find what he was talkig about. can anyone give me some insight on how to hook up this electrical oil pressure gauge? am i missing a part or sending unit? since this gauge is electrical? id much rather use this gauge so i dont have to have a oil line form teh back of my block to the inside of my dash.

Try Summit, Jegs, Etc..... For the sending unit!
