My mods are:
B16A 1st Gen head & intake unported with bored stock throttle body
GSR cams
AEM cam gears (WHAT SETTINGS DO YOU FIND WORK THE BEST WITH THIS SETUP?)
LS bottom end freshened up ( 9.5 to 1 comp)
Eagle rods
SRP pistons .20 over
STR blockguard
TypeR oil pump
LS tranny
Stock flywheel lightened and balanced to 13 pounds
Clutch Masters Stage 3 clutch & pressure plate
B series turbo manifold
T3T40E turbo
2 1/2" intercooler piping
GN intercooler modified for front mount
HKS blowoff
Tial 35 mm wastegate
B&M adjustable fuel reg
255 Walbro pump
450cc injectors just to break in the motor (WHAT INJECTOR SIZE AFTER BREAK IN?)
Zdyne Gold ecu
Taylor wires
Spark plugs ?????WHICH ONES?
I don't want to rev over 8000rpm
How do you find this setup? What would you change if anything? Is there anything that concerns you that you would like to see changed? Lastly what whp gains can I expect approx around 10 to 12 psi? I want this setup done right so please feel free to critque my setup. I have thick skin so let it rip. I just don't like doing things twice when I could of done it once right.

I can not believe 38 people looked at this and nobody responded. This motor is going in my car in a weeks time, and if somethings not cool, I need to know.
Well first ditch the B&M fuel pressure regulator. Get an SX fuel pressure regulator. 9.5-1 seems a little high on compression. Ditch the str blockgaurd, does nothing but causes you to overheat. Get the block sleeved. 550 injectors should be fine. I don't too much about zydyne ecu's but I prefer stand alones. Get atleast a CM stage 4 clutch, 3 won't hold for long. What kind of ignition you running? External coil? Beleave it or not stock honda plug wires should be fine, msd are pretty good too. Plugs I run denso ik-22, or you could get ngk bcpr7es-11.

What compression is good for this setup? My ignition is all stock minus the Taylor wires. Are you sure 550cc injectors will handle 400whp without taxing the injectors duty cycle?
9.0-1 would be good, but eberyone has there preference. I run 8.25 -1, it's all prefernce and how much you're gonna boost and what kind of fuel you'll be running.. I run 550's and i have no problems with fuel...my only problem is size of fuel lines from under the car. If you want you can try 720's but those seem a little big....my 550's flood out my car all time. You plan on making 400 plus hp on a stock ignition?
Good luck on that one, if you do decide to get a good ignition try the msd digital 7+ and the hvc coil. I dunno about those taylor plug wires

Get a custom set JE pistons not SRP. Stock wires are better than 95% of the aftermarket out there, don't replace them unless they are corroding. I agree on the blockguard, it doesn't do ****. And you will want an LSD if you want to pull of some decent times plus go for the stage 4 clutch for that kinda HP. also need an inline fuel pump and if you are looking for 400+ whp 720s is the way to go. You may want to build the head alil along with some port and polish with intake mani and get some 301 crower turbo cams rather than a pair of GSR.

looks fine to me. If u dont already have an LSD get one and I would look into a GSR tranny depending on what ur car will mph in the 1/4. 8k rpms w/ an LS 4th is awfully tall. and for 400whp go w/ the 720's it will let u keep the fuel pressures down. other then that good luck
and why u decide to go vtec? trader?

VTEC *****........ j/k
Why do you want that rice boy gimmick?
I thought you were happy with the straight LS block?
You'll prolly want 65# or 72# injectors if you're looking to run big horsepower.
As far as I know, FFGeoff had a thread a little bit ago advertising dowel pins that allow you to not have to modify the VTEC head to dowel up right to the LS block. I'm sure most people are lazy so here is the link:

 On your Zdyne did you opt for the VTEC and/or NOS control? You know that optional right? If you didn't you'll have to ship it back to Zdyne to get that stuff added.

Speed PHreak & DIRep972- I know, I know, Iam a sell out j/k. This is my reasoning. One of my injectors took a **** on me and now the breather is blowing smoke. I am selling my head for $350CDN my cams for $250CDN and my skunk2 intake for $400CDN and some other **** ( I have $1700 to play with). Now I went halfs on a B16A motor tranny & ecu with my buddy (he just wanted the tranny and ecu). So I plan on putting that complete B16A head on my motor with GSR cams and selling the B16a bottom end for $400CDN. With the money I have got I can fix all the little issues I had with this motor (like rebuilding my turbo, bottom end, bigger injectors, better wastegate & upgrading my exhaust without touching my bank account). Above all else I wanted a smooth idle again with no lope. I figure I can have the best of both worlds. With my wife on maternity leave for the full year, it makes **** difficult to do anything with this car considering my cheques are already spoken for before I get paid. When she goes back to work **** will be alot different. But for now the nuse around my neck is pretty tight.
And yes I have paid the 35 bucks extra for the vtec option when I bought the ecu (thank goodness)

Do not run the SRP pistons, they will melt down with 10 to 12 PSI, they have a high silicon content, I melted one down thats how I know. Many people have found this out the hard way. I never had any heating issues with my blockguard, it was a race engineering.
If you are melting anything in your engine its due to bad tuning not bad parts.. the pistons are made of aluminum. its takes about 1700-2000 degrees to melt aluminum, if you had your car running that lean that was your fault not SRP..
I just ordered a set of SRPs for a project I am working on.. 11.3:1 for turbo.. they make GREAT street pistons because you can keep a tight piston to bore clearance. for a street car I wouldnt go below 9.5:1. higher CR engine are much more fun to drive.. however your window for tuning error is smaller. take that into consideration.
This is from my experience with about 30 turbo hondas.. not just one car.
