Default Ahhhhhhhhhhh ****, operation 400+whp is on the way

I have almost gotten all my pieces to my puzzle. I have a LS/Vtec setup: My mods are:

B16A head with TypeR valve train
2001 GSR cams
AEM cam gears
JG Edelbrock intake manifold (still to come)
720cc injectors
ARP head studs
Stock throttlebody bored out
B18A bottom end with 9.75 to 1 compression
Eagle rods
SRP forged pistons 81.5 mm bore
STR blockguard
TypeR oil pump
Walbro 255 intank pump with relay wire kit
replaced stock fuel filter with a easy cleaning aftermarket sX one (stock fuel lines)
B&M adjustable fuel pressure reg (getting a Areomotive or SX)
Zdyne Gold ecu
Y1 first gen cable tranny with LSD
12 pound flywheel
Aluminum crank pulley
Clutch Masters stage 3 clutch and pressure plate
Spark racing turbo manifold (it will be braced)
35mm Tial wastegate
T3 60-1 turbo .63 a/r on the hotside
3" downpipe into 2.25 exhaust with exhaust dump(will be upgraded later)
HKS SS blow off
6.5 X 3.5 X 28 Sperco intercooler
2.5" intercooler pipes
#3 feed and #10 oil lines
MSD 6A with coil, distributer cap and wire
Taylor wires

What do you think this setup should push to the front wheels at 12psi and 20psi? Also tell me if you see something you don't like. I want this right the first time around.

Its all going into my 91GS baby seat teg

I think 20psi and 2.25 exhaust is going to be interesting. You may want to consider driving that thing with the cut out open if you are gonna do that. I see know that you are upgrading, but I would wait and do that too at the same time as the install.

nice 2nd gen!
.63 a/r turbine, and jdm Y1 might cause some traction problems
those aren't the wheels youre going to run, right?

If it were me, I would not run 20psi on those Eagle rods and SRP pistons. I would opt for Crower or Pauter rods and either JE or CP pistons. The best possible setup would be Pauter rods and CP pistons IMO.

The tuning is going to be done with the 3" downpipe cutout. The car will be driven with 10 to12psi daily with the occasional 15 psi weekend setting, and boosted at 20psi with C16 probably twice a year at the track. When I go to the track I will be putting on my 15's witha dragradial. Its my daily driver so I will keep the boost very conservative on the street with 94 Sunoco pump gas. I will never through a slick under it to see what she can do, because I am not interested in breaking ****. I just want to have the power to drop some jaws in the V8 world rolling in 2nd gear up to 4th. It will never be lightened or stripped. The mph will give me a indication as to who I can compete with on a rolling start. On average I figure at low boost levels (10 to 12psi) on the street I will make about 320whp or so. So I am not going to stress my parts by being maxed out all the time. But first I am going to tune it for kill because I have a score to settle with a Mustang guy that can't see beyond his Ford badge on the hood. He has a 440whp 97 supercharged SVT. We are racing from 2nd gear to 4th.

Whats the Y1 got to do with it? It's the 2nd longest geared cable b-series tranny behind the LS. 1st gear in the Y1 is actually longer than the LS's, but I think the Y1 is shorter 2-5. They both have the same final drive (4.266 or whatever).

I would have to agree w/ some of the replies here. I wouldn't go w/ SRP pistons, and I wouldn't go w/ stock sleeves. You might be able to get away w/ the Eagle rods. The rods don't bother me as much as the sleeves and the pistons, ESPECIALLY THE PISTONS!!!!! I'd go w/ JE or Wiseco. Look into that.

I already have my bottomend balanced. If the SRP pistons give me a problem then i will get a set of JE's. The rods don't bother me for the fact that I won't be pushing this car on a daily basis. 80% of my driving from work to home is in heavy traffic, so from Mon- Fri it just gets easy driving. Sat and Sun it will see some boost. For my purposes I think the strength is more then enough. Stock sleeves don't bother me because I know tuning is the key. Stoopid makes crazy power on stock sleeves with good succuess. I am very educated with forced induction, and this car will always be running top grade fuel and frequent oil changes and spark plug changes. I will also have a safe boost retard program with my Zdyne in the streets.

Not true. JE does make the SRPs, however, the SRPs are a different alloy (high silicone for low expansion (tighter clearances)), have less machine processes, no side reliefs, etc., etc. There are quite a few JE "shelf" pistons to choose from. The SRPs are basically the affordable compromise for moderate performance. Go with the JEs if you can. My .02

I don't see it that way. I will make the same hp as him in a car that weighs 1000 pounds less then his Mustang (do the math). Rolling in 2nd gear to 4th I plan on seeing him in my rear view mirror. 440 @ 380 ft of torque in a 3600 pound car is still going to catch a beaten from a turbo teg with 375whp much less 400+whp. Out of the hole is a different story, but on the roll its all =.

correction.. I was thinking jdm S1 (2nd shortest). You're right, the jdm Y1 is long. Its the longest geared B-series cable tranny offered in the vtec models. But Im not sure if its the 2nd longest geared cable b-series...

USDM 90-91' RS/LS(s)/GS
1 - 3.166
2 - 1.857
3 - 1.259
4 - 0.935
5 - 0.742
Final: 4.400 < confirmed this
While mine was apart, I was able to count the teeth
counter: 66 teeth
main: 15 teeth
66/15 = 4.400

Straight from Acura brochure..
USDM 92-93' RS/LS(s)/GS
1 - 3.230
2 - 1.900
3 - 1.269
4 - 0.966
5 - 0.742
Final: 4.266
The accuracy of the brochure is debatable.. even the 99'+ Civic Si brochure might've gave the wrong info on its final drive...

J2turbo21- Thanks bro, I am in the process of fabricating my 3" downpipe and bracing my turbo manifold. It should be in the car in 2 weeks.
