Default Merging dump into 4" DP

Anyone have any data that would advise against merging my 60mm dump tube in with my 4" going out the hood? Trying to keep it a little simpler and cleaner. Single 60 in a forward face config.

I've heard that the exhaust flow restricts the dump tube flow as the dump tube is trying to exit with exhaust.

I'm sure there are people with data that will come forward.

Our GN and Prelude are done this way. I see no down sides.

This is incorrect all around.

The wastegate has priority, being the higher pressure of the two.

There is no issue with doing it this way. I just did this on my car for this year with the new manifold/exhaust setup.

That's good enough for me guys. The 60 hangs right over the exit of the turbo so it just makes sense to merge it in smoothly.

Why would it matter?

Me personally I don't see where it would change anything

Check. Higher pressure dump tube flows to lower pressure exhaust. Makes sense to me.
