Default K24a2: AFI Turbo Kit - Pump Gas Dyno Tune

Nhia has been a TDC customer for a while now. We've had his RSX-S in the shop on several occasions for upgrades and tune. He recently decided to get a turbo car, and bought this Midori Green EK hatch. We had the hatch in today for several repairs, and a tune on Hondata.

Here is the setup:

Bone Stock K24a2

AFI GT35R Turbo Kit

Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump
Precision 1000cc Injectors
AEM Injector Driver
Hondata K Pro
Hondata 4 Bar MAP Sensor

Here are the results:

This chart is at 14 PSI. Nhia plans to come back soon to have us install ARP head studs, a new Head Gasket, and IPS cams.

The following chart was the last run. All we did was lower vtec point and adjust down low to increase power and spool up. There was no sense in doing another full rpm run on a heat soaked setup when the top end was already tuned, hence the short run.

25deg VTC, or swapped out for 50?

25.

For comparison purposes in regards to how our dyno reads, a k20 with your average bolt on's (tuned) will net between 181-193 whp pretty consistently.

Nasty piece of work. Traction will be an issue.

^ Yes. Slightest throttle input and it's roasting time.

A 4 year old thread where the OP hasn't been active for a year... Doubt you're getting a response. Since AFI has been out of business for a while I doubt the kit reliability had any relevance since you can no longer get the kit
