turbo installed
i installed my turbo and everything. got walboro 255 and 550cc injectors. have to drive about 45 minutes to get hondata installed and tuned. should i install the pump and injectors and then drive it or drive it there with the stock pump and injectors? i have the 8lb. spring in the tial wg

id put the pump and the 550s in and just run a 550cc basemap. if you dont hit more than a few psi you will 100% be fine. No sense in risking getting to the dyno and missing something or what not with the ease of making a basemap like that.

he doesn't have hondata yet.... he is driving to get it installed AND tuned.
I'd be very careful driving w/o any fuel management, + you won't be able to use your 550's w/o anything to tune them down. You can install the fuel pump. You better get an FMU or somthing to make the trip with. It's HARD to stay out of boost with any turbo, even trying to just pull on the highway...

oh if you dont have hondata yet your car won't even start with 550s. Actually i've had one car magically idle them like a drag car with stock pulse widths.
Go to dyno with walbro fuel pump / stock injectors in is my advice.

alright so keep my stock fuel delivery in and disconnect the vacuum on the wastegate. install them when im over there before the car is tuned on the dyno. thanks everyone. i might be able to get a trailer, that would be best i know.

ben, wouldn't disconnecting the vaccum from the wastegate build the most boost possible as the wastegate will not open whatsoever?

I would run the walbro pump and stock injectors (thats what i have on my daily driver) to eliminate headaches that could occur at later install. There is no downside to running the walbro on stock injectors, the car will run 100% normally.

the best way is to remove the wastegate spring, but disconnecting the charge pipe works if you drive easily on the turbo (to avoid overspinning)
