Default (non honda) oil return

sup guys,

i am working on a car which has a very short oil pan. the engine itself is conteins some of the oil,

the turbo itself sits way above the oil level.

can i make the drain placement under the ol level?

i know that VW 20vt engine has the return below the oil level.

thanks

I'm sure you can. Stealthmode oil lines did a video a while back on a Honda with a drain return coming back into the pan at the bottom. With the proper feed/restricter it shouldn't be a problem. but I've seen people weld s return Bing in the side of blocks b4 when things like this come up. It was on a spec-v sentra and it worked well.
