Default greddy profect 2 help*

ok so i tune on friday but i have no idea how to wire up my profect 2 with my exernal wastegate.

one question i have is do i need a vacuume source before the throttle at all? if so why?

diagrams will help a ton.

see page 10 for external wastegate setup. you should be using pre-throttle pressure sources.

basically,
top port of wg to COM port on solenoid
side port of wg to pressure source
NC port to pressure source (you can tee into side port line)

your boost controller doesnt need vacuum. its controlling boost so it only needs to see boost.

for the in-cabin unit you need to run a vac line w/ inline filter (to the intake manifold), wire the power and ground, and run the wiring harness to the solenoid.

if you have a fitting on the compressor housing then you are good to go. if not then you can tap one or tap a charge pipe.

ill look at it, some of the local shops say pre throtle isnt the biggest deal.
