oil pan drain placement
hey guys, this is my first post in the FI forum, i have a 97 type R and i began my journey in the world of boost. i have a quick question,im peiceing my kit together an im waiting on my downpipe. i orded a an f-max downpipe for my car, i dont have it yet but i want to put my drain tube in my oil pan, does anyone have a pic of a DOHC 1.8 with a f-max dowpipe or can anyone tell me the optium place for this tube. id like to have everything built and then just put the downpipe on when it finally shows up.thanks in advance.

im talking about the drain line from the turbo to the oil pan, i dont want the oil liner to interfear with the down pipe(that i dont have yet). so i want to know where in my oil pan to weld the oil drain tube.

You want it to look like this. (mine) 
It is on a b16, and it is the drag kit, but all lines should be similar. Try to keep the hole in the oil pan high, and allways have the line downward sloping!

as high as possible and make sure you don;t have it welded in the way of the oil pan bolts and studs...otherwise you won;t be able to mount the bolts and buts..

thats what i did
my oil pan is held on by one less bolt now
its cool, no leaks so far.
