Default Suspension Help!

Hey, i have a 2006 Accord v6 Lx 3.0 L. I want to lower my car, but i am very confused on how to go about it. I hear coilovers are better than shocks and springs, and vis versa. Can you help me out? Okay, i want to lower it a good amount, probably 1.2 inches, so it wont scratch much, but will rid the fender gap, and gather a little sitffer suspension. Should i go with shocks and springs? or should i go w coilovers? And if i do go w shocks and srings, what set of springs will be really good to use? and when i get the shocks, i hear koni yelllows are good, but do i need them for all wheels, front left right and rear? any help will be good, thanx

Honestly if you want springs go with TEIN i have heard good things from fellow honda firends that have them. I have had coilovers before and liked them but i am awaiting my springs in the mail and havent had a chance with them myself, so good luck though.

I don't think Tien has a 1.2 drop

on springs it means it will drop 1.75", coilovers will give you adjustment and will rattle your fillings loose(not really but close sometimes). stay away from the spring a sleeve coilovers that doesn't have its own damper(shock), if you want a good ride. this is just based on my expierence with the 3 set of spring and sleeves and the 3 sets of springs i had all on accords
best bet Eibach springs, if you have the money go with Koni damper(prefrence), although i've never used Tokico's

It would be optional. Most people won't recommend a camber kit unless you're dropping 2"+. But you'll get some camber wear on your tires if you drop it and don't have a kit.

alright cool, so this is what im thinking, I want to get the 1.2 front, 1.3 rear eibach pro kit, and koni yellow shocks, is that a good combo? now when i get the shocks i have to get front right and left shocks correct? and then a set of rear ones? and one more thing, whad is a coil "dampering" kit. what does it mean dampering kit. lets say i get the coilover kit, to adjust it i haeve to take to a shop right? and if i get the kit, i just tell them my initial wanted height im guessing?

Yes i am dropping my accord 1.25 inch w/o one and it will be fine. I also had an EG with more than a 1-2.5 drop something of that nature. It was coilovers so i just lowered till i like the way it looked and no wear of the tires abnormally at all. so good luck.

i would spend the money on a camber kit, cause in the long run ur gonna spend more on tires even if u have only a lil bit of camber on ur tires they do wear unevenly
