Default tein s-tech springs ?

ok, what does everyone think of tien s-tech springs?

up to 2.0/1.7 (front/rear) drop
supposedly designed for OEM shocks
fairly cheap

i have a 99 4cyl sedan with 17" wheels.

about 2" is the lowest i want to go. i plan on going to tokico hp shocks this
summer (non-adjustable height). therefore i like that they drop a little more
in the front so i can avoid the "boat" look.

are the s-tech's good springs?

how will the perform on stock shocks?
how about on the tokico blues?
and how do they compare to the eibach pro kit and nuespeed sports springs?
(the other two i'm considering)

"up to 2.0/1.7 (front/rear) drop

aftermarket springs are not designed for OEM Shocks. Your Shocks will Blow!!! And Even Might be Bouncy. Do it right once.. Buy Shocks and springs

obviously you have never driven in a car with teins. They are extremely well engineered. The spring rates work with the shocks so that they don't over heat or build up too much pressure. My friend has tein S tech on his EJ6 with stock shocks, and it rides good. However, S tech isn't that stiff, so if your looking for a race feeling, you wont have it. S tech rides more like stock but lower, so basically, its good for appearance mostly.

S-tech's are good but I have the"boatlook". I dont like it either. its tucking in the back and 2 fingers in the front. I want to slam the front but not with my mugen lip up there either.

yeah they do give the boat look about 2 fingers in the front and 0 in the back as stated before

its better than stock but not by much

when paired with tokico illuminas I have them set at 5 I set them to 1 once and it felt like I was driving a boat all tippy and sloppy I belive it was softer than stock but when at 5 its stiff and feels much better

I think I am going to look into progress springs and koni yellows eaither that or omni coilovers

not the best pic but you get the ides ill dig for annother
