Default hondatas300 and gm3bar map problems.. gurus

ok had my map sensor on the car for the last setup it worked fine on crome..

i upgraded turbos and manifold and to hondata s300 now when i boost it when i let off it throws the damn map code yah i clear it and its fie but soon as i boost it throws it again.. anyone else have this happen i asked in the hondata forums but that place is dead and they dont know anything useful anyhow.. well gimmie some hints to get these gremlins out

Few things I would check -

-Triple check the wiring

-Make sure you don't have your OEM sensor hooked up as well as the GM( I've seen this happen before)

- Possibly your hitting boost cut.

- Try someone elses map sensor


Thats all i can think of off the top of my head..

Everyone thinks they "have" a GM 3 bar since everyone advertises them as 'GM's'. Usually this will throw the scalar values off. Now that I read a little more it possibly sounds like a faulty connection.

on the dyno the readings are spot on .. i just get a code after i boost.. its not hitting the cut i have my boost cut on at 28psi i hat 25psi max.. man wtf.. i guess ill try antoher from this guys crx thats ion my garage

I would try another one.

I had a couple 2.5 bars that did this crap and a new sensor fixed the problem.
