I run a B18C6 with SC34 turbo, 38mm TIAL WG, 5 psi spring and Neukin equal lenght manifold, Hondata S300.


Problem is, when i WOT before vtec, WG reguls on 5 psi.


BUT, when I enter the vtec, and inside the vtec, the boost goes to 11 psi and even more if I kept the WOT...

Checked the vacuum lines, the gauge, the ecu...


Does anyone have an idea, solution or searching way ?

 

are you sure the wastegate is opening? Sounds to me that its not..... or your getting major boost creep/spike

 

Do you have a vacuum line to the top port of the WG? If you are then you're just pushing air in keeping it closed. Leave that port open.

 

sounds like boost creep it would blow right by 5psi if it wasnt opening, its slowly creeping up right?

what rpm does it hit 5 what rpm does it hit 11?

 

this was happening on my buddies rx-2 turned out the wastgate bolts worked loose... good luck...

 

for a start, i would recommend geting the boost cut activated on the s300 at 10 psi or so, and with such a low boost and that mani u will get creep, if u wanna fix it might as well get a 44mm wg or increase the boost a little see if it helps, borrow someones boost controller and try it.

When i accel . Before the vtec ( 5600 ) 5 psi and then 6500 rpm it goes slowly to 10 - 11 .

I tried without vtec and it's the same thing but it goes slower .

Tomorrow i'll open one more time the wastegate and check everything ... I really don't understand ...

It's a 35mm WG . I asked for a 38 Got to see with alex ...
