Default Bigger dumptube help reduce spike

hi guys, i'm hitting boost cut at 4rth gear after 7K due to a spike from 17psi to 19psi. My dumptube is 11/4" replace it with a 11/2" or 2" will help my problem.

ls vtec 9:0.1
Blox cast mani
SC 3431E
Boost cut set to 19psi

what boost controller are you using? is it spike or creep? what wastegate?

Tial 38mm 8psi spring
Manual boost controller ( the three way valve with locking device and one port plugged)

I think is creep.

Increase your wastegate spring pressure and turn the mbc down. youre running almost double the gate pressure. You wont really be able to stop what the MBC is doing.

That small dump pipe is not helping things.
1 1/2 or 1 3/4" would be much better.

38mm is just shy of 1.5" you need to run 1.5" tubing

IIRC you shouldn't go more than double your wastegate spring pressure with a boost controller. Is it just me not understanding this system of measurement, but what in the **** is 11/4" or 11/2"? Is that 2.75" and 5.5"?
