.7 bar(10.15) psi spring, 9 psi consistently 10 psi once, 11 psi once, weather???
I'm supposed to be at 10.15 psi on the spring...I can only get it to boost 9 psi, one night out of no where it boosted 11 psi and it felt great, but I can't get it to 10 and stay there. The night it went to 11 I retightened all my connector hoses and everything but the next day it was right back down to 9 psi.
The weather is hotter around here...in the 90's and about 80 at night.
The one night it when it reached 11 psi it may have been a little cooler like 60-70 and I know the temperatures effect the mechanics of the wastegate, also the car had been sitting in a parking lot cooling off all night and it was barely warmed up when I started boosting.
I'm just kind of depressed about the inconsistency, with my .5 bar spring I never had a problem with it boosting lower, it was either right on, or creeped in cold weather.
I change the spring and now this. If I just knew what it was that would help out. thanks.
its a tial 38 mm

Where is your vacuum source for the wastegate and the source for the boost gauge? It could be pressure drop though the intercooler and piping.

my source for the gauge and BOV is the FPR line, and the source for the wastegate is that thicker vacuum line for the PCV that runs off the middle of the intake manifold. When I just checked it, when that hose gets heated up I can pull it off and on of the nipple of the wastegate easy as hell. So I think I might clamp that down with something.
Also at idle (750 rpms) I'm at like 19 hg vacuum. I think I should be at 20-21 so that might be where the leak is I'll tighten it up and check it out.
some of my intercooler pipes are welded. I only use hoses where necessary.

The majority of setups will loose pressure from a fmic and piping... don't expect the full PSI of the WG to actually be there.
Also.. i seem to remember alot of people suggesting not to run bov/wg off the FPR line. If you are willing to do a vac log, use a stronger source like the brake booster line and setup one tap into that for source.

i remember from the tial wastegate install instructions, ur not suppose to have the vacuum for the wastegate after the throttle, ur suppose to have it before. I dont know how important that would be. Also that vacuum line for the PCV valve cant be too good to T off for the wastegate, isnt there oil and excess blow by coming up that line? You wouldnt want that in ur wastegate.
