hey guys, im currently working on my turbo project. Starting out im only gonna be running about 5-8 lbs of boost. I have turbo pistons already, just wondering if i should just go ahead and buy h-beam rods or if my stock rods will hold just fine..any input would greatly help..thanks

 

Buy new rods. Putting pistons on stock rods is pointless. You might also try looking in the forced induction section for questions like this.

 

yah putting those pistons is pointless. and since u ar gona be running low bost u can probably run it on stock internals with a good tune.
but since u got the pistons already i would get teh rods and jsut be safe. and then run hi boost if u ever feel lik it
