can i go je pistons on gsr rods
ok, i got some je 9:1 pistons and am thinking of putting them on my stock gsr rods for turbo? will it be okay to boost 10psi? or do i NEED new rods also? let me know, first timmer booster here..

ok if i use the pistons with stock rods will i still be able to boost 10psi? what if i get rods? how'd that change things??

might as well get rods.. whatever rods you get, get stronger/upgraded bolts, like eagle rods can be fitted with stronger bolts for better reliability. - its all worth the money in long run.

You can use JE pistons on stock rods. The stock rods will probably work ok for 10psi. Personally I wouldn't waste my time throwing in a set of JE pistons without getting better rods. Eventually you'll want to run more than 10psi and the motor is going to have to come apart once again. That would be a waste of time and money. Do it right the first time! You'll pay for it in the long run if you don't. Good luck.
