Default anyone with only PISTONS?

anyone out there with a turbo motor with only forged pistons and no rods? how much can you boost with no rods? and can the stock Acura Integra rods hold up to 11 lbs of boost with JE 8.5:1 low compression pistons?

I think that, that will be about the limits on stock rods.

You might as well just get rods. Also, is it even possible to put JE's on stock rods since the wrist pins aren't freefloating?

My friend had a gsr with just 9:1 Je slugs and the most I've seen him run was 14lbs.

Yeah floating wrist pins work.

I have D16 motor with LS rods on JE pistons. Does that count?

Stock rods will hold ~400, but i think if i had to do the pistons i would jsut do the rods at the same time.

stock rods will need modified for floating pins
Basically bore out the pin hole and put a brass or was it copper, bushing in it and drill a couple oil holes

no point of keeping rods stock if you are doing that indepth of work on a motor

you could shotpeen and cryo treat the stock rods and they would be at least twice as strong
