I have a rubber hose and want to change it to steel braided. Is the only way to remove the old connection and weld in new ones?

what kinda fittings and are on the return now? give us a few more details, and any pics would be great. kinda sounds like you might need to weld a new fitting though.

 

whatever came with the revhard kit when they were using turbonetics turbos, i'll see if i can get a pic

 

is it like this one? the red line with the bolt on fitting shown on the right side? is that the fitting that goes on the pan or does that come off the turbo? what type of fitting is on the pan now? im assuming it is welded?

 

I wouldnt bother with a stainless returnline. First of all theres no pressure for the need and besides braided line in that size costs a kidney.

 

yeah, thats the one, keeps leaking on the oil pan side

fitting on the pan, it is welded

 

You can either get a SS line of the same I.D., or you'll have to get a new fitting for the pan, gasket and fitting for the turbo, a -10 45º Male-Male Fitting, and the line with the hose ends. Contact Flamenco-T for the return line kit.

id use socketless hose /fittings IMO better than normal AN fitting which leak from my exp

You'll have to have a new fitting welded on the pan. Make sure you do this after you find what you have to work with as far as length and clearances with the new line. Like I said in my earlier post...you'll need a few different pieces to complete what you seem to be looking to do.
