The drain line has a 5/8 inside diameter. I'm not sure what diameter of that fitting you're using is, but it looks like you'll either need to change that fitting, or get a larger hose.

How is that fitting attached to the pan?

its been welded on and then hit with a good amount of jb weld. wasn't my crappy job, the person i bought it from did it. I'll probly just go with a different hose. but is 212 degree hose going to be ok? I don't know where to find any higher temp hose.

the diameter of the fitting on the pan is a little under 3/4" . grinding the bead will do nothing. and hopefully it will not be a mess

Its hard to tell from the picture but that fitting doesnt look extremely fluid and may cause a headache when you begin clocking your turbo. You could weld a better fitting on.

Another option would be the moroso replacement plan. I used it and there have been zero leaks.

aeroquip makes 300F rated hose (blue). check their website for dealers in your area (plumbing stores). its not braided and i wouldn't use braided line on the type of fitting you got there.

I would either put the pan fitting that came with the kit in and block that one you have, or find a larger diameter hose. If you go with a larger diameter hose, you're also going to need a new barb coming off the drain flange as well.

yah i ordered a new barb fitting allready. i'm gonna give the push on hose a go. those aeroquip hoses look pretty sweet. If it leaks hopefully I can find someone local that drills. and taps pans.
