If i take out the spring off the wastegate will it be 0lbs of boost???

well your car would be really slow 
.....but seriosuly i wouldn't go railing on it with the spring out....if you need it that way just to get around then it should be fine.

are you doing this for emmissions? or somthing cause i have heard of people doing this when using FMU's

one reason would be if you have to go to get the motor tuned and its a longer drive to the tuners shop, pull the spring and it wouldnt boost
