damnit i cant find anything, i was thinking ebay because i am going to rebuild the motor anyways, but they wanted me to send 2000$ to the middle of canada!
Look at the engine code stamp on the motor to see if it's a jdm. Like already stated, JDM won't have any numbers on it. It will be stamped B16 and the year of the motor will be stamped on the head.

The yellow circle is where it will be stamped "B16A2" or "B16A", that's really the only way to tell on these motors. If someone's trying to sell you a "JDM B16A2", you may want to reconsider... Also, not to deliberately burst your bubble, but there's really no way to tell if the motor has 39,000 or 390,000 miles on it...unfortunately engine swap mileage is on the honor system.

yeah true, but i am going to be re-doing the bottom end for turbo application anyways and so i figured if it looks really bad ill have the valves redone and it wont really matter how many times are on it....but i cant find a freakin motor!

Start here if you want to know places that are worth looking at:

If you are going to rebuild anyway, just get something with a million miles on it. Will be much cheaper anyway. And if you are running this setup already, then just buy a longblock.
