Default b16a2 is jdm?

well i purchased my hatch with a jdm b16a2 in it...
its a jdm motor (sirII) but its stamped as b16a2...
the guy that sold it to me, and another person told me... that only some of the SirII's were stamped as a2... what u guys think... cuz i thought jdm b16's are just b16a's...

Sounds like he lied, I have an SiRII motor and it only says B16, this may help too look at the tranny were the axles go and see if it a straight hole may also help id a real one

All this will tell you is if the transmission is LSD, someone could of easily changed the transmission.

jdm motors arent stamped with "a2" , "c1" etc.

B16A2 is EM1 (Si) not JDM.
