Bump, I would like to know too. I wanted to give the GT35 a try on my built F23 and I need to figure out which hot side to go with. Either the 63 or 82?? Keep in mind it's mainly street/daily driver.

I would just stick with the .63 A/R on the hot side for some nice midrange torque, which is what you'd want if youre running an F23 transmission.

I was planning on going with an H23 tranny and LSD.

I was running a T4 .82 hot side on a 11.0:1 true 1.8l and it had full boost by like 5800 rpm. I ran it cause' that's what I had. Depending on what you plan on revving to I would imagine a 2.3l would spool a lil' lower in the rpm(by 5K or so) and you may have a somewhat useable power band. Just my $.02.

I think a 5000 spoolup would be horrible on an F23... it redlines at 6500 unmodified.

I think the threadstarter should state what his goals are for his vehicle.

goal is about 300 to the wheels daily driver. im in about the same position as the other guy, i got the turbo basically free and its mint, i also have everything else to turbo it. but i need to either find another back housing(tryin to find out where?) or what kind of compression to run with this setup to spool at 3300-4000rpm. need advise.

For 300 I would just get a T3/TO4E 57 trim 48A/R which is my current setup. I'm getting near 220 at the wheels on 8psi. So if you bump it up to around 14 you should get your goals. I want to up the size of the turbo and break into the 400s.
