What are most of you funning for total timeing?

Default What are most of you running for total timeing?

What are most of you running for total timing on about 2.1L on about 26psi? most people ive talk to around here are saying around 26. Srry for the noob ? im new to the tuning! Thanks Wade

26* timing on 26 lbs or boost???? when i tune cars i run 22* timing total on 8psi. on 26 psi u will want to run alot lower timing. i never tuned a car with that much boost but im gonna say around 5-7* for 26 psi

even on race gas i would run like 18* timing for that much boost

Yes im running race gas and i kinda thought on the same lines as 22 but i wasnt sure.

ive seen people run over 20* (like 22-24) total on c16

Just keep in mind every motor is different which in turn every motor is going to react different to various degrees of timing. Find MBT, pull a couple degrees off and be happy

I remember when I used to run 26 deg of timing, but only to found out my timing gun was busted. Bought a new timing gun to find out that my timing was out of phase by 10 deg retarded...lol

26* is insane... That's all I am going to say. Nobody here can give you a number because your engine is different from anyone elses.
