Default Help with ITR rear seats into EK hatch

I recently bought a set of USDM ITR rear seats and have already mounted the ITR backs on my stock civic frames. I've done a search and I know many people have done this same seat swap but I can't find any decent answers to my question. My problem is with the rear bench. The metal prongs on the ITR seats do not lign up with the holes. What did you guys do to secure the rear bench?

im curious , did the bottom half fit just like the stock EK bottom, cause i thought there would be like a 1 inche gap on both sides between the seat and the molding?

I'm not sure what year they are. They're USDM though and have the plastic piece in the center so I'm pretty sure they were all the same. I'm not worried about the gaps at all.. I just want the bench secured to the car by more than the seat belts. I'll take some pics after work if you think it would help.

i could never get mine to secure with the plastic clips so i ended up using long zipties and basically tying the bench down to the floor that way.

bottom cushion of integra seats wont bolt up to ek chassis with out some modification.
easiest way would be to drill out some holes so the seat can clip into it securly.

Did you remove those 3 large metal supports under the rear seat cushion

probably the worst thing you could possibly do....if you have a side impact...your car will look like a compressed accordion.

If I removed the support there would be no way at all to secure it. Come on people.. I know plenty of people have ITR seats in their hatches.

Thanks for the links.. although only the one link provided any technical information.
My problem is this:
"i noticed that tabs will pop in only if you have 99-00 EK. not the 96-98 EK."
I have a 96..
