Please give me some input guys(N02 + Turbo setup)
I've got my car running like a beast. Right now I'm chilling at 9 lbs of boost. I think thats a pretty safe number to hold at on my stock LS motor. I do have a Zdyne standalone all I need is a 3 BAR map sensor an I can run the max the motor can handle stock(14lbs). But for now my MAP sensor limitation keeps me from upping the boost and blown/breaking things. As it sits I need a major suspension upgrade as my stock stuff is blown out. But it's still a 12 second car. Check the BIO for a complete run down of my setup.
Anyways the Zdyne also has N02 management capabilities. So i'm wondering if adding a 35~50 shot would be worth it? Just for the "surprise" effect. How would the motor take to FI and NO2 at the saem time assuming that it is tuned well. I've noticed that for the first little bit of driving my car, it responds well but as the nigh goes on and the engine bay heat soaks my performance dies off a bit. Would a shot of "NAAAAWWSSS", help this problem any? Thanx for the input guys.

I've boosted 11lbs before with the stock map with no problems. The fuel map goes up to 10.8lbs, I believe so thats not a problem. 2lbs would be your 30shot of NOS hehe
I"m sorry this is ot but how much and where did you get your Zydne standalone system? Does it require a obd1 setup? I"m looking for a standalone system but don't want to have to spend another $600 on switching to obd1!!
Umm, I got mine straight from Zdyne for like $950. The Zdyne will do everything any other standalone will do, no need to convert to OBD-1 just so you can have a Hondata. Here is a THread that was open just recently tell ing about the Zdyne. Bring it back alive if ya want.

Sounds nice, is it non-OBD compatible though? A Zdyne will allow you change the throttle at which car car changes from open to closed loop. Set a 1% it disables the open loop all together and allow you to run straight off your fuel maps. With a preperly installed A/F guage you can tune you car fairly well.

the chemical compound nitrous oxide is expressed as N20 not NO2. NO2 is totallly different that is Nitrite. N which is nitrogen has a -1 charge in this case and since their are 2 of them N2 then there is an overall charge of -2. the O which is oxygen has a -2 charge so they combine to make a neutral compound = N20.
r yall still awake??
