Stock d16y8 map sensor How much boost?
im just wondering since i am only running 7 psi right now, after i build the bottom end of my motor w/ forged internals i will have the boost turned up, but how much will the stock map sensor read/how high, before i need a 3 bar map sensor? thanks
-dsm 450s, gt28, chipped p28 ecu, 2.5" exhaust, internal wastegate
-sohc, will be tuned w/ chrome, basically the edelbrock kit) anyone kno how much wheel horse i should shoot for? (safely) thanks

believe it's 9.5psi, im not exactly sure, but i know when i set-up a greddy turbo kit boosting 12psi it came with an e-manage system so i didnt have to worry aboutthat problem

your stock 1.7 bar map is good for about 11 psi
I dout you will need 3 bar later. How much psi are you after?
GM has a 2 bar. the Motorola map is 2.5 I think.

after you upgrade the MAP, I think the internal wastegate is your next bottle neck.
The motorolla 2.5 bar are < $30 new if you can find one. They are also about the size of a nickel so be careful where you plan to mount them.
