Stop running your boosted engine without it being properly setup and fueled. PERIOD.

You're lucky if you didn't already blow rings or melt pistons.

You NEED some sort of engine management to make your car run flawlessly. What you need to do is take it to a reputable tuning shop, have them chip your ECU, run chrome/chrome pro, get it tuned then have fun. Until then, stop beating your damn untuned car or you'll have many more problems on your hands.

your building 8 lbs of boost on a stock ecu that has no idea what to do when it sees boost, and there for has no idea how much fuel or timing to add/subtract..
Sooo..

Bc your motor is not tuned for boost your stock map wouldnt even have enough fuel for the turbo. Get your ECU chipped and take it to get it tuned. You might want to check/change your plugs. Considering your car was backfiring.

are you kidding these people are trying to help you and you spit in their face?

the map sensor isnt the problem. it can read up to 11psi no problem. like someone stated above when the ecu sees positive pressure it has no idea what is going on, it has no values in its mapping for positive pressure so it just freaks out. a GM 3 bar will do nothing for you by itself.

what you said was helpful. I wasnt "spiting in anyones face". Im trying to put a ruff tune on it by my self and everyone was saying the exact same thing!!! completly ignoring the direct question. yes I know I need to get get it tuned but I have seen plently of turbo hondas run strong with out a base map or tune.

A gm map sensor will do nothing for you, atleast throw an FMU on it if you have any intentions on this motor lasting longer than a 4th gear pull.

Like I said before, do this ^

Your ecu is used to and is tuned for no boost. When you start putting positive pressure to the ecu, it has NO idea wtf it should and shouldn't do. Whether to add or pull timeing/fuel. a 3bar map sensor will read up 35+psi but thats not going to put timing nor fuel in the correct manner it should be with a boosted car. When you start boosting your putting more air than your ecu is used to without adding fuel so it'll cut out and IT WILL fry ring(s) and/or a piston(s)...
