Re: BadBiddy's 10 year turbo Integra build 500+ or bust
*** Real Update ***
Sorry I have been away everyone.... life has been happening - my wife and I are expecting our first child here soon. Since the last update I was able to do the following:
- install new turbo - Thanks MAC!
- installed ethanol sensor - just logging not actively making changes on the fly.
- been able to drive around and get a feel for the new turbo - I'm using the MAP from the previous tune with the old turbo.... AFR's look really good from the wideband and the datalogging.
Now to the good stuff - I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GO TO A DRAG STRIP!!
Little back story first - I have never been to a drag strip to watch or race. Believe it or not I watched videos on YouTube on how to stage at the lights LOL. I had never even launched from a dig in this car before ever before coming to the track. Here are some photos of my track experience -- I went to two different track days. These photos are a combo of both days.
First EVER run down the track I ran a 12.3... blew all of my expectations out of the water. Ended up making 5 runs that day with a PB of 11.9. I came back for the tracks last event of the year and ended up only making one run but set a new PB of 11.6@124.24. Was such a great ending to a crappy year - Can't wait for next year to come.... Goals is to break into the 10's on a full weight integra.

Currently pulling the LS trans out and going to put a GSR gearset in - that way I dont have to purchase another MFactory LSD for a GSR case but instead utilize my LS case/LSD combo. Also I ordered ARP extended wheel studs as well - Should be here soon.

10's or bust - 2018!
Gearing alone is going to make a big improvement in your ET's imo.
Re: BadBiddy's 10 year turbo Integra build 500+ or bust
If you properly set up full throttle shifting your et will drop a lot. I’ve personally experienced anywhere from .3-.5 second faster from fts alone. I’m sure others have had similar experiences.

Yeah thats what I'm told - Guy that did my transmission work is going to corner balance the car as well. Being my first time at a track ever I think I did good this year.... wasnt able to cut a faster 60ft than a 1.8. I started anywhere from 11-14psi in my slicks then my fastest time was with the slicks on 9psi.

Build is looking good btw.
I'm actually kinda scared to do FTS... I know it can be properly setup in Hondata. I think once I get more comfortable at the track we might be able to make the switch.

Yeah man I've had my fair share of ups / downs.
Transmission is out of the car and off getting a new gearset / syncros. I also removed the front spindles so I can get extended wheel studs pressed in.
